Chiara Voliani: Turning Sculpture Into Jewelry, and Jewelry Into Soul
A Tuscan creator’s journey from boutique fashion to invitation-only “sculpture jewels” that make luxury feel personal.

In a world that rushes toward the polished and the mass-produced, some creators choose another path — one carved with instinct, emotion, and quiet rebellion. Chiara Voliani is one of them. Her story is not just about jewelry; it's about transformation, risk, and the radical act of creating with heart.
From Boutique Fashion to the Beginning of Something New
Chiara’s creative journey didn’t begin with a studio or sketchpad — it began inside two iconic fashion boutiques in Pisa. For over two decades, she immersed herself in the evolving world of fashion, surrounded by visionary designers and cutting-edge labels long before they became mainstream names.
Fashion was her language. But eventually, she began to crave a different kind of expression — one that lived closer to the soul than the surface. That calling came in the form of a chance encounter.
The Spark: Meeting Giuliana Michelotti
While working in the boutique, Chiara met Giuliana Michelotti, an artist and designer known for her unconventional jewelry. It wasn’t love at first sight — at least, not for the jewelry. “I’ve never been a lover of jewelry,” Chiara recalls. “I didn’t care for traditional pieces.” But Giuliana’s work wasn’t traditional. It felt like sculpture. Like story. Like something alive.
Moved by this creative spark, Chiara left the comfort of her job and took a leap — she joined Giuliana in New York, representing and selling the sculptural collection across the U.S.

Redefining Luxury: Exhibits Over E-Commerce
In New York, Chiara reimagined what it meant to sell jewelry. Rather than a physical storefront, she curated immersive, invitation-only exhibits in art spaces, galleries, and showrooms. Each event became a sensory experience — art, conversation, presence.
“I created a new way of selling,” she says. “I chose to collaborate with exhibition venues to create interesting synergies.” For Chiara, the value of a piece couldn’t be communicated through a price tag online. It had to be felt — touched, worn, seen in the light.
CV: A Brand Born from Intuition and Courage
Six years ago, Giuliana fell ill and was forced to stop creating. The chapter they had built together was closing. But for Chiara, something new was waiting.
With no formal training in jewelry-making, she began to study. Her production partners taught her the technical side, while her instinct guided the creative. The result? Chiara Voliani - Gioielli Scultura her own line of handcrafted, sculptural jewelry launched in 2019.
Every stone is chosen by intuition — often rough, unpolished, and magnetic. “I go with my gut,” she says. “I pick stones according to their shapes and colors, how I imagine them becoming something more.”
Her pieces are bold yet tender. Structured yet organic. They feel like modern relics — not accessories, but artifacts of emotion.
Selling With Soul
CV is not available online. There are no shopping carts, no listed prices, no digital catalogs. To see the collection, you must be invited— to a private exhibit, a curated event, a conversation.
This is by design. “To fully grasp the soul of my jewels, they must be seen, touched, observed,” Chiara explains. “Emotion must be created — like in front of a painting.” Her exhibitions are intentionally intimate. The spaces are hand-selected. The guests are chosen with care.
It’s an approach that defies conventional luxury retail — and yet, it feels more luxurious than anything mass-produced.
Why We Love Her at Neova Collective
Chiara Voliani is a master of emotional curation — an artist whose work lives at the intersection of design, intuition, and soul. Her story mirrors the very values Neova Collective stands for: authenticity, intentionality, and the power of living artfully.
She reminds us that style isn’t just about what we wear — it’s about what we feel, what we create, and how we connect.
